In the event of a medical emergency, quick and efficient action is always required. When faced with a medical situation, try to involve as few people as possible; every effort should be made to prevent a crowd of bystanders from gathering around the injured person. Please use your best judgment, and follow the guidelines outlined below:

• Immediately call 911. Be prepared to provide the following information:
  • Injured person’s name
  • Approximate age and sex
  • Building address, floor and exact location of the injured person
  • Description of the injury/illness
• Immediately after calling 911, please call the Building Management Office at (847) 597-2350 to report the situation. A Colliers staff member will meet the paramedics at the building entrance to secure elevators and escort the medical team quickly to the injured person’s location.

Post one person at the elevator to lead the medical team to the person in distress.
